Shade Trees

Shade trees serve many useful functions besides the obvious esthetic landscape purposes.  Of course, they give us shade on lazy Summer days and when planted close to our homes, the shade they provide and their natural insulating properties help to lower home cooling and heating costs.  Shade trees provide shelter for birds and other wildlife, replenish oxygen and purify the air and water, as well as protect watershed areas.  They play a leading role in the prevention of soil erosion.

But perhaps the best loved reason for using high-quality shade trees in our landscapes is the magnificent show they put on for us each Fall, hot and spicy oranges to blazing scarlet, deep crimson and rich purple.

Below is a list of many of the varieties and sizes of Shade Trees we carry in our Wholesale Yard.  Please call or email for our latest list of available varieties, sizes and prices.
